Glutarol Verruca and Wart Treatment

£4.99
Sold Out

Wart paint for the treatment of warts and verrucas.

Active ingredient: Glutaraldehyde 10% w/v.

For use on verrucae and warts. Glutarol is a virucide which inactivates the wart virus. Once applied to the effected area, Glutarol hardens the upper layer of skin causing it to toughen and become white in colour. This layer of skin then begins to wear away which helps prevent spreading of the virus allowing the new skin growing underneath to be healthy and virus free.
Treatment advice: Soak the effected areas in warm soapy water for 2-3 minutes to soften the skin. Dry thoroughly and gently file away any loose skin from the surface of the wart with an emery board or pumice stone. Apply two coats of Glutarol to the wart allowing the first coat to dry before applying the second.
Warnings: May cause skin to become irritated around the area where the solution is applied causing skin rashes. Can cause brown staining of skin, irritant to eyes, nose and airways. Highly flammable and not for use on face, genital area, broken skin or moles.
The side effects listed are known to be associated with this product but just because a side effect is listed here, it does not mean that you will experience that or any other side effect.
